A woman was rescued alive yesterday from the River Thames after she jumped in there from the Westminster bridge to escape the terror attack. The woman's name is Andreea Cristea, a 29-year-old architect from Romania who was visiting London with her fiancé, Engineer Andrei Bumaz.

The couple were on Westminster Bridge, walking towards the London Eye big wheel when the attack occurred at about 2:40 p.m.


A British pedophile who raped a young girl for 225 times from the age of six has been jailed for 16 years.

The man identified as Anthony Morgan, in a ‘campaign of rape’, targeted the young girl, ruining her life, especially while high on cocaine and alcohol, Metro UK reported.

A man named Nyan Tun AKA Kalapu, has been arrested in Yangon, Myanmar for stealing a whole house. According to members of the community, the theft may be related to an ownership dispute between Kalapu and the house owner, Han Win Aung.
Police officer Maung Maung Oo told local newspaper, Eleven, that the home had recently been bought by a man named Han Win Aung from Thanlyin, but it seemed that the person who sold the home t him may not have been the real owner of the house. Maung Oo said:

Popular business mogul at Alaba International Market, Ojo, Lagos, Daniel Okwuchukwu Chinemelum, and his wife Felicia Chidimma, were laid to rest on March 17th, in their hometown Ekwenanyika Nri in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State. Late Chinemelum, popularly known as FEDAN, at Alaba International market and his wife lost their lives after he drove off a bridge and plunged into a river in January 2017. A Cambodian aid worker, 51 year old Mounh Sarath, claims that the documentation Angelina Jolie used to adopt her oldest son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, contained false information in order to speed up the adoption process of Maddox in Cambodia.
He said that he lied that he was Maddox's father in his adoption papers in order to speed up the process of passing him into Jolie's care in 2003. He also claims that he provided a local address on the adoption papers, that he is still Maddox's father on paper and still has power of attorney over the 15-year-old boy.


Samuel Ime Edekhe, a 200-level student of the Department of Agricultural Engineering in Akwa Ibom State University was laid to rest on Friday, March 10th, in Uyo. He was aged 20.
Late Edekhe, was described as a first class material, having gotten a GPA of 4.35 in his 100 level of study. He is survived by three  brothers, a father and mother, as well as a grandfather.


A 39-year-old man was shot and killed by soldiers at Orly Airport outside Paris on Friday morning after he attacked a soldier and attempted to steal her rifle. Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said the attacker identified as Ziyed Ben Belgacem, a French-born national, held a pistol to the soldier's head and used her as a shield. He reportedly yelled that he wanted to "die for Allah and whatever happens, there will be deaths"
He was a serial offender with 44 offences on his criminal record - his most recent being for armed robbery. The police source initially said the man was a radicalised Muslim who was known to the authorities.

At least 17 revelers and tourists mostly high school students died after a huge tree fell on them at Kintampo waterfalls in Brong Ahafo Region, Ghana on Sunday, March 19th.
Huge trees fell from uphill crushing and trapping people in the water. Many are still trapped in there. Several others injured in the accident are receiving treatment at the regional hospital, according to Kintampo divisional police commander Desmond Boampong.
