The general manager of an Edleen Dairy shop died in hospital on Friday morning, March 31, after being shot during an armed robbery in Midland, Geuteng,  South Africa on Thursday night, March 30.

Dyke Motsepa tied the knots with his wife Kido Nyareli on March 11th.
He succumbed to his injuries, a bullet wound to the stomach, while being treated at Tembisa Hospital.

Another period of fuel scarcity looms as authorities of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers PTD have directed their members to begin an indefinite strike starting from today April 3rd.

National Chairman of PTD, Salimon Oladiti, has instructed members of the association to shut all loading depots and fuel terminals until further notice.

A woman who lives in Delta state, dumped her baby by the roadside after being told by a pastor that the child was possessed by snake spirit. 40-year-old ex-Indomitable Lions international and former Liverpool defender Rigobert Song has thanked his fans, well wishers, football community and the Cameroonian government for the support and prayers they gave him as he arrived in his home country from France over the weekend.
Song, in October 2016, was flown to France after suffering a brain aneurysm (stroke) for two days  at Yaounde Emergency Centre before he was flown to Paris for better medical care.

 
Song, one of Cameroon's greatest players of all times, upon his return to Cameroon ,thanked the country's fans and President Paul Biya for the support in the wake of his six-month medical stay in Europe.
He was met by dignitaries, friends and family at the Airport, and a smiling and much recovered song couldn't hide his joy.
"I'm going to say thank you to the people, to God and President Paul Biya and his wife because he did everything to keep me in a good way," Song told reporters on his arrival at the Yaoundé Nsimalen Airport. 
"And people in Cameroon, I'm going to tell them 'thank you' for everything they did when I was in my situation. To come out of a heart issue without a scar, I am thankful to God and the Cameroonian people. I am healthy thanks to the doctors, I underwent three aneurysm operations." 
"I don't remember what happened, but after my situation I've seen a lot of things. People have told me what happened,” he added. 
“So I'm very happy to come back and I want to say thank you to all the people. When I opened my eyes the first reflex was to touch my head and I realised something was wrong, I was very far and I thank God for his mercy," Song said.

A Mexican attorney general Edgar Veytia, from one of the Mexican states has been arrested at the US-Mexico border in San Diego for smuggling drugs and attempting to distribute drugs.
The State of New York filed drug trafficking charges against Veytia, a state prosecutor from the Mexican State of Nayarit, on March 2, which led to his arrest on Monday.

Powerlifter Oksana Kosheleva, 34, is the strongest woman in Siberia and more than a match for the average man. One fellow was foolhardy enough to pick a quarrel with her and he was treated to the unbridled fury of raw power and muscle. A video of the comical incident shows a male driver locked in a traffic standoff with Kosheleva, she proceeds to get out of her car, drag him off the wheels before dumping him in her trunk with a kick for good measure. Mortuary attendants at the Gakwegori Funeral Home in Kenya were left shocked when a pastor stormed the mortuary to resurrect his dead wife.
Pastor Robinson Karumba of Eagle Wings Prophetic Ministries, arrived at the Gakwegori Funeral Home with his members in the early hours of Wednesday, demanding the body of his wife released to him, Nairobi News reported.

A couple in Sokoto have been arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for burning the penis of a 17-year-old teenager who allegedly raped their 4year old daughter.
Speaking to Newsmen on Wednesday, the Commandant of the Corps, Mr. Babangida Abdullahu confirmed the arrest.
According to him, the couple (name withheld) were arrested on Tuesday, at their Sama residence in Sokoto for allegedly taking the law into their hands.
