A happy toddler posing for a picture under sunny skies, that's what you
see at first until you look closely. Bianca Dickinson from Australia
said she noticed something move while taking pictures of her 2yr old
daughter, Molly. Initially, she assumed it was a piece of bark from a
tree in the wind but upon closer inspection, was horrified to realise
the movement was an enormous Eastern brown snake, just centimetres from
her toddler, Molly.
She quickly snatched the tot away from danger and tragedy was averted. The photoshoot was for Australian children-wear label, Twinkle Star Designs. The Eastern brown is the second most venomous snake in the world and is responsible for most snakebite deaths in Australia.
