See Interview Below:

Growing Up: My childhood was not a stable one because we grew up in war torn countries so my family and I were always relocating. I grew up in Liberia, Lebanon and Ivory coast before we finally moved back to Ghana. There were happy moments when I was in school but most of my childhood moments are not quite exciting.

You speak French, Spanish and English? How were you able to learn all three? Yes I do. I am not very fluent in Spanish though simply because I can't constantly speak it in Ghana.I grew up in Ivory coast where I lived for 11 years hence I speak and write fluent French. I learnt Spanish in Ghana at the Institute of languages. I love languages and learning new cultures.

Journey into the movie world: I grew up watching so many celebrities in Hollywood and dreaming of being like them someday. My parents always used to buy me every new album of any musician back in the day just to keep me updated. I was a huge Celine Dion fan. I remember in the 7th grade we were asked to write an essay on what we will like to be when we grow up and my dream was to be an international model and musician. I didn't have acting in my plans. although I acted a few times in senior high school, I have always been the shy type, so I used to prefer singing at talent shows whilst wearing sunglasses .  I somehow stumbled on acting in 2004 after I had just won a beauty pageant and was crowned "Miss Ghana institute of

languages" (Queen of languages). I went for the audition, got the role and the rest they say is history. However, I didn't forget about my childhood passion though, I am in the studio working on my album and I have currently released my first music single called "celebrate" which featured Jupita .

What would you say is the difference between Juliet Ibrahim 10 years ago and now? I am 27 yrs old now. Obviously I have grown into a woman now (Laughs)

If you were to choose another career apart from acting, what would it be? Music or Law.

You are married, and you have a cute son. How do you manage your family life, and being a working actress?
By the grace of God I have been able to describe myself or call myself a "superwoman". It's not easy, but with the help of my wonderful mom I have been able to juggle it all. She takes care of my son whenever I have to be out on the road. My husband is also quite a busy person so we are both always on the road. I actually do make time for my son whenever I am in Ghana and not on set. He is so much fun to be around and every time I am away I miss him so much. I also run a boutique in Accra so when I am not on set filming I am taking care of my business.

Tell us about your son? My son's name is Jayden.  He is 2yrs old and he is the sweetest person I have ever met in my life, I love him so much.

How she relaxes? I travel, sleep, watch movies or spend time with Jayden.

Her personal style? Trendy and casual. I am not really a follow the crowd kind of person, I always wear what suits me and suits the occasion. On an ordinary day I will be seen in jeans and tank tops.

What is the one thing you will never be caught wearing? Rubber boots
What determines your hair styles. Sometimes you go for red hair, sometimes blonde, sometimes natural?
My hair is one thing I love to always change. I have never kept the same look for a long period of time. it depends on my mood and my dress code for an event, hence I have so many wigs in my closet.

Your daily beauty routine and how you have managed to maintain your complexion?natural body cream made of Shea butter. I use a lot of carols-daughter products from the USA.
I am mixed race so my complexion is natural. however, I can't do without my facial scrubs and

How she copes with your insultive fans on twitter/instagram: I take constructive criticism and learn but if the person is getting too offensive I simply block them. It comes with the fame so best to block the person.

You recently allowed a male blogger touch you to confirm that you don't wear butt pads, how were you able to manage the criticisms that came with it?
They are entitled to their opinions and I understood most of them and their points. But they have to realise that I am a grown woman and I know how far I let him go, pictures can be deceiving, and the human imagination is always running wild. I do not wear any hip or bum pads, that point has been made clear.

What do you think is the state of the Ghanaian movie industry and the African movie industry at large?
We still have a very long way to go in our industry. We lack quality equipment, We lack quality editors, studios and so much more. We lack support from corporate bodies as well to fund the movie makers to hire the right equipment.
How far can you go in a movie, when it comes to sex scenes?
I won't go nude in a movie, for example you won't see me acting a porn movie. Not for all the money or fame in the world.
We understand that JULIET IBRAHIM FOUNDATION is focused on creating awareness on kidney cancer and providing necessary interventions, how many lives have you impacted so far?
I believe the foundation has impacted so many as long as people are aware of what the disease is about. We have a music video out on you tube and it has helped and been very well circulated in the world amongst various kidney cancer organizations and platforms. The Juliet Ibrahim foundation also raises funds every now and then to help patients undergo kidney transplants as well as to pay for patients dialysis treatments.

What is the greatest lie you ever told? What a question (laughs) I don't think I have told any greatest lie yet. Petty lies are usually what I will tell. (laughs)

What is the most romantic surprise/gift/gesture you have ever gotten? An all expense paid trip on my birthday.

What’s your take on sex before marriage? It's always based on individual preferences. it is advised not to have sex before marriage so I always encourage the youth to try their best not to be misled into having sex before marriage. 80% of the time, you can never end up marrying the one you first had sex with, so it's best you avoid it and just wait for the right time and right one.

The governor of Rivers States; Rotimi Amaechi has donated the sum of $100,000 over N15.5m to rescue the ailing music producer, OJB Jesreel.
This move was made by Jazzman Olofin, who was said to have visited Mr. Femi Davies, a top journalist and online publisher to complain about the way the people around are treating the issue of the prolific producer/singer.

Miffed by the report given, Femi Davies, we were told, intensified effort to liaise with another top journalist, Mr. Wale Olaleye, This Day Political Editor and he was said to have asked Mr. Davies to come forth with a formal letter of request to be forwarded to Governor Amaechi.

As soon as the letter got to the embattled governor, we gathered that he signed it and ordered the state to pay as soon as possible.

As you are reading this, Governor Amechi’s State, Rivers, has finally restored the hope of the people who have rallied round the entertainer, OJB.

Though, there seem to be some rancor between the people in charge of the ‘Support OJB Team’ as some people are already deliberating on how to have their share of the money as soon as it arrives since Governor Amaechi has coughed out the whole money needed for the kidney transplant and there were previous donations close to N10m before now. Though, the money, as we were informed, will get to the ailing entertainer before the close of work today or tomorrow.

This is really amazing, despite the situation of things between him and some political elements in PDP, governor Amaechi surprised all and sundry as he made this whopping donation. What a man with a heart of gold!

We hope the government of the good-hearted man, Mr. Amaechi would speedily attend to this cause before it’s too late like what happened in Edo State recently when a civil servant who needed just N150,000 had to lose his life because the money was not speedily disbursed as authorized by the governor.

A woman's breast implant ruptured after lying on her stomach for four hours playing a game on her phone.
According to Chinese news reports, the woman from Beijing had been playing the game in bed when she felt a pain in her chest.
She was taken to hospital and SZNews reports that a doctor said the low quality of the implant, combined with the pressure of lying on it for an extended period of time, had caused the rupture.

The women was apparently playing an iPhone game called Dragon Summon.
It is not clear if the woman had the breast implant replaced - she apparently had the surgery to boost her low
self-esteem.
In 2011, a woman's breast implant was apparently ruptured when she was shot in the chest while paintballing.

The 26-year-old was hit at close range during the game in Croydon, south London.
Although she did not make a complaint at the time, she went to her GP two days later who told her that the implant had been punctured.
The company which runs the centre have since issued extra padding to all women with breast implants.
Last year a Texas woman filed a lawsuit claiming that one of her breast implants ruptured because a police officer used excessive force during her arrest.

A scrap plane formerly owned by the late Apostle Gabriel Oduyemi of Bethel Ministries, Ajah, Lagos, caused panic in the city on Thursday as rumour spread that another aircraft had crashed in Lagos. It was learnt that the plane, which was recently released to Capt Matthew Ekeinde, husband of Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, was being dragged to Badagry area of the state before its tyre burst. The incident forced the new owner to dump the plane in a nearby filling station.

Hundreds of residents trooped out with their smart phones and camera, and queued behind the gate of Dapsey Oil filling station at Igando where the plane was parked.

A senior employee of the filling station said the plane, with registration number N972TF, was being towed from Muritala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja to Badagry when one of the tyres burst. He said, “The plane was brought here around 2am after one of its tyres burst. It was being towed by a red vehicle, but after it got to Igando, they discovered it would be difficult to get it to its destination with burst tyre, which was why they brought it here.”

The Lagos State Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Damasus Ozoani, told the News Agency of Nigeria that the police provided escort for the plane. He said, “About 12.45am, the command got a directive to escort the jet from MMIA Ikeja to Badagry by road. “The operation was led by one Capt. Matthew Ekeinde, but in the process of the journey, one of the jet’s tyres burst at College Bus Stop and the jet could not move.“It was parked at Dapsey Filling Station along Igando for repairs. We have provided security for the plane until it is moved to Badagry.”

PUNCH Metro observed that men of The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps were on the ground to “ensure the safety of people” living in the area.

The Igando Divisional Police Officer, Adeoye Olugbemiga, came with his team around 12pm to control on-lookers.

In a short time, some of the residents turned the scene into an amusement park and began to pose and take shots near the plane. One of our correspondents observed that the plane’s two wings had been chopped off and the cockpit was stuffed with nylons. The Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, Nnamdi Udoh, in a statement, said the aircraft had long been within the agency’s facility till Wednesday night when it was removed. Udoh said, “The aircraft that was sighted by the residents was actually a junk one belonging to the late Apostle Gabriel Oduyemi of Bethel Ministries.

“The aircraft was actually released to Capt Ekeinde who will be using it for educational purposes in Badagry, Lagos.”Ekeinde confirmed on the telephone that the scrap plane belonged to him.He said, “The aircraft will be situated in a multipurpose and entertainment centre which will be open very soon.

“When opened, the centre will be the first of its kind in West Africa.”

                                                                        Victim's Home
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested four boys for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl in the Mile 12 area of the state.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspects, Wale Badejo, Jubril Yusuf, Olusanya Remi and Wale Oluwafemi, who are between the ages 18 and 19, allegedly abducted the victim on her way to school and took turns raping her. According to the police, the suspects held the victim for over seven hours and threatened to kill her if she told anybody about what happened to her.

A member of the victim’s family, who craved anonymity, said the incident occurred on May 30, 2013.
She said, “She (the victim) told us that one of the suspects, who also lived in the area, had been making sexual advances to her for sometime but she always rebuffed him. The boy (Oluwafemi) and her friends then vowed to deal with her, calling her a proud person.

“She schools at Maryland and because of the distance of the school from home, she leaves home around 6:30am every day. “On the day of the incident, the boys came on two motorcycles, grabbed her and took her to Oluwafemi’s house at Agiliti.
“The boys blindfolded her and stuffed her mouth with cloth. The boys then took pictures of the barbaric act and made a video recording which they said they would upload on Facebook. The boys further threatened to kill her if she told anybody about what had happened.”

PUNCH Metro learnt that when the victim returned home, she did not inform her parents about what had transpired for fear of being killed.
It was learnt that a resident, who had seen the rape pictures on the phone of one of the suspects, reported the incident to the victim’s parents.

It was learnt that the victim’s mother immediately reported the matter to the Ketu Police Division and the suspects were arrested on June 6.

Our correspondent, who visited the victim’s home on Dada Street, learnt that the suspects had been accused of similar offences in the past. A resident, who craved anonymity said, “The boys have been accused of raping other girls in the area. They always get away with it and we hope they will be prosecuted this time.”

The case, however, took a sudden twist when the victim’s family said they did not want the case to be taken to court.

The victim’s mother, Iyabo, said, “The families of the suspects have been begging us since the incident occurred and we have decided to let the case go.

“I was pained when I learnt my daughter was raped, but since we are all neighbours and taking into consideration the ages of the boys, we believe it is best to forgive and forget.

“One of the suspects is even an orphan and his 75-year-old grandmother has pleaded with us. For the sake of peace, we do not want a case anymore.

“My daughter has been taken to hospital for treatment and so far, no illness has been found in her blood. She has also received counseling and she will soon resume school.”

A police situation report made available to our correspondent by the police ‘B’ operations department stated that, “On June 6,2013, the mother of the victim reported at Mile 12 Police Post that the suspects conspired and had carnal knowledge of her daughter, who is 14 years old.

“The mother said around 6.30am, when her daughter was on her way to school, the suspects grabbed her and forced her into their room at Dada Street and had sex with her one after the other. They also threatened to kill her daughter and throw her into the river if she told her parents.

“The victim said they blindfolded her and covered her mouth with cloth. The suspects have confessed and will be charged to court.”

When contacted on the telephone, the spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Braide, lamented the rise in cases of rape, adding that parents of victims usually frustrated efforts of the police.

She said, “We have said it many times in the past that parents of victims are of the habit of perverting the course of justice by refusing to cooperate with the police in prosecuting rape suspects.

“Except members of the public rise up against this, rape will continue.”

After having had two cute kids for Peter Okoye of Psquare, the question that pops up in everyone's mind is "Why aren't they married yet?"

Well, Peter Okoye's baby mama and heart throb, Lola Omotayo has cleared the air on the issue - it's not Peter Okoye's fault as speculated by the blogosphere!

In a recent interview with a National newspaper, she disclosed all there is on her relationship with the musician and why she is not in a hurry to get married YET!

See excerpts below:

Many people got to know you when your relationship with Peter Okoye started. Who really is Lola Omotayo?

Simply put, what you see is what you get. I can’t really define who I am per se, but I’m humble, caring, loving and a professional in the oil and gas profession. I take my work and family very seriously because they are very important to me, my family in particular.

Your heartthrob, Peter is quite successful, but you seem not to depend on his wealth. What’s your driving force?

I believe that as a lady, you have to support your partner. You can’t put everything on your partner; it is important to add value as well. Even though I’m not bringing as much as he brings to the table, at least, I’m adding value and making things a lot easier.
Honestly, that’s the way I was brought up; I can’t rely on someone for everything. I have to be independent. I should be able to buy something for my kids without asking their father for money. I feel good as a person knowing that I can do things for myself, not that I want to feel above him in anyway, but I just feel it is important for me to add some value to his life as much as he adds to mine.

What advice do you have for Nigerian ladies who put all their financial burdens on their partner?

I think that is the core of our problems in this society because we put so much pressure on the man to take care of us, pay our bills…we put so much pressure on them, and that tempts some men to start doing some shady businesses. Women put too much pressure on men in this part of the world.

Also, a lot of women are greedy and lazy, so they just want to get married and stop working. It doesn’t mean women should go all out and work for the men, but somehow, you just have to make things easy for him. I see a lot of young ladies out there; it is not as if there are no jobs for them to do, the problem is that they don’t want to do certain type of jobs, they want everything to come easy.

I started the very hard way, I didn’t start the easy way like people assume. I had to work myself up there because I had a vision. A lot of young ladies in Nigeria see people driving fancy cars; carrying fancy bags and assume that a man is supposed to do all of that for them, so they sell themselves in order to get it. But you don’t have to do that. You can always find ways to make money legally.

Assuming you didn’t come from a wealthy family, how would you have coped, considering the tight economic situation of the country?

I think it is still about family values. I came from a humble background; I didn’t come from a very rich background. My parents worked really hard and I saw the care that they took to ensure that they instill the best on their kids, so I drew my strength from there.

You have to fight for whatever you want; if it is education that will take you there, then, you have to go to school and ensure that you get the needed degree. And if you are creative, you can do other things, may be design clothes and all that.

It doesn’t have to be a big job. Dangote didn’t start with millions of dollars, so you have to be focused and work on it gradually to get to where you are going. In fact, coming from a privileged background is difficult because it won’t make you enjoy how life really is. For me, my father really threw me to the dogs; he wanted me to see how life was.

He could have enrolled me to some fancy schools when I was growing up, but he wanted me to see how life is. He made me rub shoulders with people who had nothing. I have friends who came from rich background and today, they have nothing. I also have friends who came from poor homes and today they are doing well. It is about values and hard work.

How romantic is he?

Peter is very romantic as well. He does things that an average Nigerian guy will not do. There was a Valentine’s Day that he came to my house with a guitar and played some love ballads for me. That was really cool and I loved it. Those are the little things that he does that really touched me.

How challenging is it to date a celebrity?

Having a relationship with a musician is one of the most challenging situations to be in. There are things you have to deal with; a lot of women, intruders, fans. You have to appreciate and respect the fans, but you also have some of them who are thinking of other things. I think it’s one of the most challenging relationships one can have.

You won’t even spend much time with your partner because he’s on the road most of the time doing shows and concerts; even during holidays like Christmas, Easter and New Year, they are not around. So I’m not really enjoying that part. But I thank God that we are managing it very well.

Dakore Akande declares this; I will not do romantic roles anymore, I will have to consider my husband before taking any role henceforth. Though, if I see a role that is good and positive, maybe I could act. I am now a new Dakore and not the old Dakore people used to know because I am coming into a new era in my career.

I am now a mother and a wife. I just have to be more discerning about the movies that I embark upon.”
