The EFCC has declared a former INEC Chairman wanted for collecting millions of bribe money from Diezani Allison-Madueke.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has launched a
manhunt for a former chairman of the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) in connection with a N23.29b poll bribery scandal,
The Nation reports.
According to the report, he is alleged to have perpetrated strategies which ensued the rigging of elections by taking bribe totalling millions.
Also, it was gathered that the former INEC chairman has been evading arrest since last two weeks before the EFCC now put him on red alert.
An EFCC source said: “Our operatives are still looking for him. We have put other security agencies on the alert.
“He is wanted in connection with the N23.29 poll bribery perpetrated by a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.”
