Nigeria Labour Congress in Lagos State took their protests
to the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, today. According to
reports, they blocked a junction leading to the secretariat, then
entered the premises and began disturbing government activities by
harassing workers for not obeying the announced strike action. Officers
from the Rapid Response Squad were immediately deployed to handle the
