Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, was this
morning arraigned before the Abuja Chief Magistrate Court over the
criminal charges brought against him by the Federal Government.
He was arrested on October 18th and is standing trial for alleged
criminal conspiracy, managing and belonging to an unlawful society and
criminal intimidation contrary to sections 97 and 397 of the penal code.
