On Wednesday,  a four-year-old girl, Faridat Sulyman, was found dead in a shrine at the back of her parents’ apartment.

The victim was reportedly recovered in a pool of blood at about 8pm on Tuesday with a deep cut on her throat.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the girl and her two siblings – Fawaz, 11, and Roqeebat, 9 – had gone to a summer school in the neighbourhood at about 2pm while their mother went to a market to buy foodstuffs.

Fifteen minors who sexually assaulted a donkey in the small rural town of Sidi Kamel, Morroco, have been treated for rabies infections received from the animal.

The sexually frustrated children and teenagers stayed at the Mechraa Belksiri Hospital for one week to receive rabies vaccinations after the animal transmitted the disease to them, explained Moroccan daily Al Akhbar.

The police in Imo State have arrested one Wilson Nnorom, a suspected member of a three-man gang that had been robbing bank customers after withdrawing cash on bank premises in Owerri, the state capital.

The 33-year-old Nnorom, a native of Ebenator-Ekwe in the Isu Local Government Area of the state, was arrested along MCC Road in Owerri, according to a police source.

Southern City News gathered that the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in the state had launched a manhunt for the two fleeing members of the gang.

Police are working to piece together how a woman, Lisa Theris, 25, who went missing in July, ended up naked on a remote road in rural Alabama on Saturday, after surviving for a month on berries and muddy water.
Judy Garner was driving along Highway 82 in Bullock County when she first spotted Theris, whom she initially mistook for a deer. But after she realized it was a human, Garner pulled over.
"I started shaking. I was crying, I was scared, and I didn't know what to do," Garner said. "So I went over to her and asked her if she would stay there while I get water out of my van. She stayed, and I called 911 and told them I had found a girl on the road."

The Nigerian Air Force has sentenced to death by hanging Airman Kalu Bernard, for killing his lover, Solape Oladipupo on March 12, 2017.

The 21-year-old was found guilty of six out of eight count charges which included murder, house breaking, impersonation, attempted murder.

Yesterday August, 15th, the President of the court, Gp. Capt. Elisha Bindul sentenced him to death by hanging, subject to the confirmation of the conveying authority.

Two police officers in the US are being investigated for allegedly pulling over a college student and performing a vaginal search on her in a parking lot for 11 minutes.

Charneisha Corley, 23, was stopped in Harris County, Texas for running a stop sign and was told to step out of her car to be frisked after the deputies said they smelled marijuana.

In a case which has baffled many, while driving a TRACAS bus from Ekwuluobia to Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Anambra state, the driver suddenly started bleeding from his mouth and nose with mucus and foam dripping from his mouth. He eventually died while people watched.

The confused passengers passengers had to stop the moving vehicle said the driver  showed no signs of ill health when they began their journey.

A fake policeman, David Fashina , who was nabbed in uniform, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command. Fashina who is also a motorcycle rider, allegedly stole two phones from a man in Abeokuta, Ogun State while wearing a police uniform.
Tribune reports that the suspect who was paraded last weekend at the police headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, was arrested when one Dr Eniola (surname withheld) reported to the police that he was robbed of his two phones by a syndicate of two, one of whom was dressed in a police uniform.

A sad video is being circulated on online showing a white alt-right teen pulling a gun on an 8-year-old boy and threatening to murder him in a social media prank.
The video has allegedly been circulated on White Nationalist websites. In it, the teenager is heard asking the younger boy: "How fast does a n****r run?".
The child looks back confused and says that he doesn't know. The teenager then pulls a gun, and says, "Lets Find Out".

Nasarawa state Police command has arrested two persons in connections with a mob action that led to the death of a soldier, Lance Cpl. Ayuba Ali, on Monday in Akwanga, Nasarawa state.

The command’s spokesman, DSP Kennedy Idirisu, confirmed the arrest to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lafia.

Idirisu said that available information revealed the the victim, who was on pass from Maiduguri, allegedly hit a street hawker at Agwan Affi area of the town while riding on a motorbike.

A man was put to death in Yemen on Monday after been convicted of raping and killing a child.

The 22-year old, Hussein al-Saket, was found guilty of abducting, raping and murdering a four-year-old girl, who he later buried, said Rajeh Ezzedine, a judge who attended the execution.

Ali Ayedh, the victim’s uncle, said Saket “took part in the search for the girl before being unmasked” during the police investigation.

The Imo state police command has arrested one of the gunmen that attacked police officers on patrol close to the Assemblies of God Church in Oguta, a community in the state yesterday August 13th.

A-38-year-old man simply identified as John is in custody of vigilante group in Igbanonmaje Otukpo, Benue State for allegedly raping 3 of his brother's children who are between the ages of 12, 10 and 8.
The accused, a resident of Otiya B in Otukpo was reported to the vigilante group on August 12.
According to Idoma Voice, John usually lure the girls to the bush with claims that he needed assistance in fetching fire wood for their mother and then takes advantage of them.
