Ali D. says he has voice recordings of his wife insulting Turkish president Erdogen.

A man has filed a legal complaint against his wife for repeatedly insulting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the confines of their home, Turkish media reports.

Reports have it that the man, identified as Ali D., had warned his wife not to curse Erdogan.

She reportedly defied him and dared him to lodge a legal case against her.

And he did just that.

“I kept on warning her, saying why are you doing this? Our president is a good person and did good things for Turkey,” the husband is quoted as saying.

“Even if it is my father who swears against or insults the president, I would not forgive and I would complain,” he said.

Ali’s wife, G.D., has filed for a divorce in return.

They have been married for only three years.
